Desert Essence

On their site it says that  “we do not believe in animal testing of any of our products or ingredients used in making them. We require all our ingredient suppliers to abide by this same principle.”

Also It says that “while all our products are 100% vegetarian, not all are vegan. The Organics line, excluding the new Mineral Sunscreen which contains beeswax, is 100% vegan. Although several of our products have small amounts of beeswax and honey in their formulas, no animals are ever harmed to get these ingredients. Refer to the Essentials tab at the bottom of each product page for information to find out if a product is vegan or not.” https://www.desertessence.com/faqs

I personally recommend their tooth paste!  ↷ You can also buy these products at https://jp.iherb.com/

Lush

You can find Lush almost every city now in Japan. Usually the staff working there knows well about what vegan is. Therefore it makes easier for us to find the products we want! We don’t have to go online to buy vegan products which is great! Don’t need to use plastic for wrapping & delivery! However, if you don’t have their shop near you, click above picture to visit their site!  If you have any questions, there is a online chat you can use in their site! It’s pretty useful!

Body Shop

On their site it says that,

We use honey or beeswax in most of our non-vegan products for both their superior cosmetic properties and because they come from our Community Trade partners.  Our honey is from Ethiopia and our beeswax is from Cameroon; both are organic, wild-harvested and from sustainably-managed sources, where we have long-standing relationships with our partners.  In both cases, the bee communities are carefully managed to ensure they continue to thrive.
A very small number of our products also use shellac, which is a secretion of the lac insect Coccus lacca, found in the forests of Assam and Thailand; and lanolin, an oil extracted from sheep’s wool. Neither of these processes harms the animals in any way.   We are now moving away from using any animal-derived products, apart from our Community Trade honey and beeswax, and we have not created any new products using lanolin or shellac for some years.”https://www.thebodyshop.com/en-gb/about-us/vegetarian-friendly

The world is our source of beauty, but it’s facing devastation. We actively help enrich the biodiversity where we grow our ingredients. We act and campaign to enrich and support threatened areas of outstanding natural value to the planet. more detail: https://www.thebodyshop.com/en-gb/about-us/our-commitment/enrich-our-planet
